When YSS Suspension launched its all-new Steering Damper back in 2018, it was a huge success. The precision-machined, high-performance steering damper uses a progressive damping mechanism that works smoothly during normal steering and increases the damping force during sudden steering inputs or loss of control.
Since opening its first factory in 1983, YSS Suspension has been building world-class suspension products for cars, motorcycles, and scooters worldwide. Since then, YSS has gone on to win many race victories in the world motorcycle championship, including winning the Supersport 300 title multiple times and finishing 3rd in the world Supersport 600.

The YSS steering damper is a direct replacement for your OEM damper. It’s a direct plug-and-play fitment, installed in the original position and may require the reuse of some original hardware, such as spacers and bolts. Unlike other YSS suppliers, we machine down one edge of the clamp to ensure it does not interfere with the rear of the headlight.
